  i have not yet to find another organization in the world that is like jw.

  yes it has made mistakes, there imperfect humans, but what other organization in the world goes preaching house to house like jesus did.

  why is that jw are persecuted all over the world?

  Hey Toer, do us all a favor. Go to the elders in your local kindgom hall and tell them that you converse with people on a Jehovah's Wittness Disscussion form. Give them the web address so we're shure they'll be able to find the rite site and your user ID so they can read all of your posts. Then let us know what the body of elders has to say regarding your actions and how you feel about it? What do you say?

  Wife wants my 12 year old to have her own study. Strategy?

  awhile back i was smart enough to tell my wife i didn't want anybody instructing the children outside the home.

  i tried to make some other changes, such as the kids go to church with me every other weekend.

  well my 12 year old has been thoroughly indoctrinated to believe that other churches are satan!

  So as i'm leaving the house this morning...

  ...two ladies park at the entrance of my driveway (thereby blocking my egress), get out of their mommi-van, and approach me smiling.. i don't know either of them.. the elder gal asks me if i'd be interested in learning what will happen 'in the end times'.. i am dressed for the courtroom, carrying a bunch of documents related to litigation against the watchtower in california and texas.

  when i turn to respond, several of my draft documents slide out of my daytimer and (spat!

  ) on the driveway.

  If you crumble up the paper into a tight ball, over and over and over again, eventually it will soften up to the point that you could use it as a tissue or a bumb rag if you really wanted too!

  well, i have been trying to fade peacefully for months, for the sake of my wife and family.

  to do this, i have had to hold my tongue about most of what i know, and i have done a good job of it until now.

  the other day, i was hanging out with my buddy who misses most meetings, but still believes it's the truth.

  It all depends on your friend, atypical. Does he get diarrhea of the mouth? If so you'll be getting a call from the elders. If not, then no worries.

  Lying to liars about telling the truth about lies. There's a certain magic to it, eh? ;-)

  I like that Dave, too funny.

  I faded from the truth lies years ago. I used to worry about getting disfellowshipped and how it would affect my relationship with my mother. Lately I've found that I worry less and less about it. If it happened now I dont think it would bother me the least. Of course everyone's situation is unique.

  and i get a call weeks later telling me they were gonna announce my daing to the cong.
